European funding guide

Grant program (LIIA) If you're a micro or small merchant, use the LIIA grant program "Support for the digitisation of business processes" to recieve up to 5000 EUR support for the creation of an online store or website! To submit your project for review, you must fill out the “Digital Maturity Test”, that can be found on the European Centre for Digital Innovation homepage. When filling out this form, you’ll be handed a digital road map, where you will see a catalogue of digital solutions. Examine it and choose which offer resonates with you the most. (A little preview of the solution we offer) When you have examined the market and found the best solution, then you must apply for the development of a digital road map and sign a contract with EDIC for the development of the road map. In the span of 30 days, you’ll collectively create an optimized road map for you. After this step, you have to hand in your project (business.gov.lv). After submitting this application, it will be processed within 30 days. When the form gets accepted, a contract will be concluded with you and the implementation of the project will begin (for a small grant within 1 year / for a large grant within 2 years.) After the completion of the project and when all the documents have been settled (payment of the Acceptance / Transfer Act), you return to EDIC and fill out the Digital Maturity Test. Then you’ll be granted an opinion. Then head to LIAA (business.gov.lv) and submit a payment request, that will be processed within 30 days. Consider! - At least 3 service providers are interviewed and the prices have been looked at (market examination). - If the planned contract sum is 70,000 or more (without VAT), a procurement plan must be submitted at the start of the project. - Within the procurement project, it must be carried out in accordance with the regulatory enactments in the field of public procurement (MK Rules No. 104 of 28.02.2017) - Within 30 days of project implementation, a payment request must be submitted to the LIAA together with a second digital maturity test and an EDIC opinion on improvements. Initiation of project activities: After submitting the request but cannot be done before the decision of LIAA (a recommendation to wait for the decision). Demands - The tax debt does not exceed 150 EUR or there is an agreement on payment. - Activities of the project can be connected (combined) with the ALTUM program 2.2.1.4.i. “Financial instruments for promoting the digital transformation of merchants”, but not allowing double financing. - No sanctions - Does not cause significant damage - NO bankruptcy, insolvency, liquidation procedure, fraud or criminal organization. - If the merchant is active in both un-supported and supported industries, then he has to accept, that the supported actions and financial flows will be separated, ensuring, that activities in the un-supported field and unsupported activities will not benefit from the funding.

Custom email text correction

To edit an automated email, that the customer will receive after making an order, you have to go from the admin panel to Sales >> Retail Invoice. Here you can edit the contents of an email. For example, whether the logo or signature of the authorized person appears, etc. If the author does not wish to make any edits, then clients will receive an email in the default form. By clicking on the blue “i” logo, you can find short codes. When an email containing the short code is sent, the corresponding field will be filled out with the necessary information, for example, “{store_name}” will appear as the name of the store. It’s recommended to not delete the {mail_table_1} code, as it will display a table with ordered products. When the changes have been made, do not forget to save them with the blue “save” button on the upper right corner. If the store is available in multiple languages, these changes have to be made in each separately.

Including the package number in the order status

To include the package tracking number in the order status, from the admin panel go to System >> Localisation >> Order statuses. Here you will find a list of statuses, that are available for editing. Under “action” each status has a pencil symbol. By clicking on it, an editing view will open. Go down in the page and you’ll find three types of messages: e-mail content, notification after making an order and SMS content. You can adjust each one. To add the order tracking number, click the “source” button. Then, by clicking on the blue “i” icon, a list of short codes will open. There you must find “tracking number” code. The “source” button will open a code view and there you’ll be able to paste the short code into the message. When that has been done, click the “source” button again. Afterwards click the blue button on the upper right corner to save the changes. Changes have to be done in each language separately!

Registered clients and guests

In the "Customers" section You can view two tiers. First is "Registered clients". Here You can add or delete existing clients, as well as edit or view their data. By clicking on the blue "+" button, an option to add new client will appear. In the newly opened window, You must enter their data. General data is primary. You can also select, whether the client is a private person or a company. By clicking on "Add Address", information like name and surname must be repeated. That should be accompanied by address details. Second section is "Guest clients". Here You can view information about the guests of the store. By clicking on the eye symbol, You can view both general and address data. In the "Orders" section, it is possible to view their purchases. If additional data necessary, You can access it by clicking on the blue colored order. All edits must be saved!
