The main “Google Tag Manager” advantages are that it facilitates tag management and implementation, allowing you to make changes to the home page tags and code without affecting the site code itself. It also lets businesses add different analysis and marketing tools to their websites both quickly and easily, reducing required development time and facilitating collaboration between different marketing and analytics teams.
To integrate “Google Tag Manager”, you must go to tagmanager.google.com/#/home and make an account.
Creating an account:

Enter the name of an account

Country
To create a container:

Enter the name of the website

Select the site where your website is located

Click “create”
You must agree to the “Tag Manager” terms of service.
Copy the first code.
Go to the admin panel of your store.
My Store >> General Settings >> Analytics.
Paste the code in the “Analytics code (header)” section.
Then head back to the “Google Tag” window and copy the second code.
This code has to pasted in the “Analytics code (header) after ”.
Save the changes and refresh the design cache.
You have the possibility to afterwards check the integration by entering the domain and clicking “Check”.
